week12 Vitor Schietti

Vitor Schietti is a Brazilian photographer.He uses fireworks and long-exposure photography to create his photos which attract me a lot.

Unlike other common light painting photography ,Vitor Schietti go through a lot of beautiful landscape and create nice light painting.

Vitor Schietti really has a great skill of doing light painting.It gives me a inspiration that creating a beautiful photo is not a easy thing.You must spend a lot of time doing this.

 Vitor Schietti also sad  that  he explores the light painting for a long tome.Finally he creates so many beautiful photographs which is not easy.I think he has tried many times to do it.

This one above is very magnificent.The light painting is special and nice.I think he has a good skill of drawing.Every light painting he drew different shapes which is quite fit the situation.

week11 Christophe Jacrot

Christophe Jacrot

Christophe Jacrot is a French photography.He puts the fleeting, hidden moments from everyday life in a poetic and romantic light. The stormier the weather in Paris, New York, or Venice, the more ambient the Frenchman’s photographs. Jacrot reveals a new universe so fascinating that no one will want to run for cover at the first hint of rain.

These two pictures(above and below) are my favorite.Christophe Jacrot capture the reflection on the ground after rain.The object and shadow are all opposite ,it is very very special and unique.

He gives me a inspiration that taking this kind of photo need to experience in that space.You should walk in the rain,smell it,hear it and feel it.

The soft, white smoke gives the streets a particular atmosphere. The cold is palpable, as are the people’s longings for security, warmth and closeness. Christophe Jacrot’s pieces show emotional moments – instants that, as fleeting as they may be, will remain in our memories.  

week10 Fred Hüning

Fred Hüning

(1966-  )

Fred Huning is a German photographer.The review about Fred Hüning's work is Home Truths Motherhood and Identity.The photos he took portray a great mother characteristic.I think it's because of the way and the angle he captured.He shows normal life of mother and babies.Just these common part of their life,which is more attractive to the audience.

He tells the narrative of his family experiencing the delivery of a stillborn child, finding love and ultimately having a healthy baby through his photos. 

week9 Ren Hang

This photographer called Ren Hang is a young artist from China.When I first see his work,i feel that his photos are very nature,back to origins.He tries to to challenge the limitation between human and human,also between human and objects.

His artworks has very strong specialty.Most of models are naked.People called softcore pornography.I realize that specialty is a representation of a photographer.To being a photographer, i still need to explore the specialty of mine.

Sometimes,capture those great landscape or sky is not the best, try to focus on something around.Like human nature.Maybe thats the most original thing in the world.

He use different staff to make his photo more powerful,more creative.I appreciate that red photo with a mirror.He just use a simple mirror to show more parts of beauty of woman body.It also give me some inspirations that when your photo lack of something,try to add something in to make your photo   alive or more vivid.

I think Ren Hang is very good at framing lights.These four photos are very nice,especially the angle of the light and the reflection.The lights enhance the whole photo.I want to find more beautiful light for my own photos.

week8 Mads Nissen

Mads Nissen (1979)

Mads Nissen is a Denmark photographer.He has won a lot of awards during his life.

This photo below is the most famous among Mads Nissen's photo.He captures a Russian  gay couple,they share an intimate moment at Alex’s home. Life for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people is becoming increasingly difficult in Russia. Sexual minorities face legal and social discrimination, harassment, and even violent hate-crime attacks from conservative religious and nationalistic groups.In that condition,we feel that tough feeling through this photo.

Most of his photos record some social problems which people would not notice.I realize that it is a good though to take some theme that people seldom notice,it will be more surprising.

This black and white photo is full of feelings.A cat and a monkey hug together which gives me a surprising feeling.

week7 Raghubir Singh

Raghubir Singh

(1942–1999)

Raghubir Singh was an Indian photographer, most known for his landscapes and documentary-style photographs of the people from India.

I like the style of his photography.Most of his photos' main colors are strong.Like red,blue.

Also,he is good at using lights.The shadows are very nice that he captured. Also the angle of his photos are quite special. 

Most of his photography records the normal life in India.

I was inspired by his photography that i found that if you decide to take photos of a country you should pick the characteristics of that country.To Raghubir Singh he use representative colors of India,which makes people found that that it's India when they first see his work.

For Raghubir Singh, India could only be photographed in color.

 Raghubir Singh said that “If photography had been an Indian invention, I believe that seeing in colour would never have posed the theoretical or artistic problems perceived by Western photographers,” 

week6 Kotori Kawashima

Kotori Kawashima is a Japanese photographer.These eight photos that i choose are the most famous photos from Kotori Kawashima. They are all from a series of book.The book was an instant success in Japan .

The girl who has rosy-cheeked is adorable and funny.She has very strong characteristic which give the audience a strong impression.

I like the style of his photography, especially the filter.This kind of filter is usually used in Japan.I think if i take some fresh thing or cute kids,i might use the filter like this.

Kotori Kawashima captures many daily life moment of that little girl which is very cute.I realize that capture the fantastic scene of normal life is not easy.You should always notice the best moment to capture.

I think he set high exposure to make his photo more aesthetic.It is also a inspiration for me,next time when shot people who i want to portray an aesthetic feeling, i might set my camera to high exposure.I think that will make my image looks nicer.

It is such an enjoyable thing to see his photos.The rosy-cheeked girl is so cute and i can't move my eyes from her.To my work,if i want to shoot something about kids,i might find a girl like her.I think choose a special model is important ,it will give your photos more attractive and colorful thing.
